Infiltration
Infiltration of rainwater, treated water, and wastewater
What is a water infiltration system and why use drenotube®?
A water infiltration system is an efficient and sustainable solution for the management of stormwater and wastewater, allowing controlled infiltration of water into the ground and supporting the natural water cycle. This type of drainage system reduces surface runoff, helps prevent flooding, and relieves pressure on conventional sewer networks.
With drenotube®, we offer versatile, high-performance infiltration systems, suitable for the infiltration of treated water (outflow from septic tanks or wastewater treatment plants), untreated wastewater, and stormwater, adapting to different types of projects and soil conditions.
The proper implementation of a water infiltration system contributes to efficient drainage management, improves soil absorption capacity, and promotes responsible use of water resources, positioning it as a sustainable alternative to traditional drainage systems.
Example of a functional infiltration system:
It combines rainwater with domestic wastewater discharged from a micro-treatment plant septic tank. The water is filtered and directed to a distribution box, where it is evenly distributed through the drenotube® infiltration system.

- drenotube® – IF
- drenotube® without pipe ‐ BD
- Click‐fit quick connector
- Centilation pipe
Drenotube® helps to restore the natural water cycle by infiltrating rainwater into the ground.
- Rainwater management also helps to reduce flood damage.
- Easy and quickly to install without the need of using gravel. It is flexible and can therefore surround any obstacle. It is made with recycled material and it is CE certified.
- It is important to install a filtration system before water enters the drenotube line. In some cases stormwater runoff is heavily polluted and must be treated - filtration / sedimentation / separation.
Our solutions
Minimizes the accumulation of surface water in short episodes of heavy rain
Avoids the proliferation of mosquitos and other insects
It allows a high infiltration surface distributed throughout the entire installation
Reduces and slows runoff water. Favours the aquifer levels
Low maintenance and long durability
Controls pollution – filtration through the soil layer
Reducing discharge into the sewer system
High water storage capacity for later infiltration
Minimizes the accumulation of wastewater and distributes it throughout the entire infiltration area
Low maintenance and long durability
